Dr. Gregory Leszek, Optometrist  

Dr. Gregory Leszek was born and raised in Erie's lower east side before moving to Millcreek and attending McDowell High School.  Dr. Leszek then attended the Ohio State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in microbiology and a Doctorate in Optometry.  Dr. Leszek's early optometric career took him to Miami, FL where, he performed nursing home visits for an ophthalmology group.  

Dr. Leszek moved to Orlando, FL where he met the love of his life, Alice, and focused on primary care optometry.  Life brought the Leszeks back to Erie in 2017 where Dr. Leszek broadened his experience by working for the Sight Center of NWPA performing low vision evaluations on a patient base with significant vision loss and at Laser Eye Surgery seeing post-surgical LASIK, glaucoma, and cataract patients.  

In his spare time, Dr. Leszek enjoys golfing and traveling back to his wife's homeland in Africa.

Dr. Julie Hauser, Optometrist

​Dr. Julie Hauser graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Salus University) in Philadelphia, PA with a Doctorate in Optometry. After graduating she completed additional residency training in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy at "The Eye Institute" in Philadelphia.

Born and raised in Erie, PA, she has been in private practice as an Optometrist with a sub-specialty in Pediatric Optometry for over 25 years. Prior to optometry school Dr. Hauser also has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has nursing experience in the area of emergency room nursing in Erie and "Wills Eye Hospital" in Philadelphia.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, hiking, gardening and volunteering at animal rescue shelters.
